Alanya Loquat is a local loquat of the Ayva Göbek variety grown in the Alanya district of Antalya. It is distinguished by its yellow-orange skin, yellow-cream flesh, relatively large fruit size, and easily peeled skin. The special microclimate created by the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea allows the fruit to ripen earlier than loquats grown in many other regions. Reaching the market in spring, Alanya Loquat is one of the area’s well-known and valued agricultural products.
